- Zwakte, bijv. bloedarmoede, ondervoeding, abnormale elektrolytenbalans, neurologische aandoening, myopathie
- Stijfheid, bijv. Artritis, parkinsonisme, polymyalgia-reumatica
- Botpijn, bijv. Wervelfractuur, metastasen, de ziekte van Paget
- Gewrichtspijn, bijv. Artritis, heupfractuur
- Bursa of spierpijn, bijv. Bursitis, polymyalgia-reumatica, claudicatio, pseudoclaudicatie ( spinale stenose )
- Voetpijn, bijv. Ingegroeide nagel, plantaire wratten, eeltknobbels, likdoorns
- Onevenwichtigheid ( vaak multifactorieel ) :
- Neurologische ziekte, bijv. Beroerte, cervicale myelopathie, perifere neuropathie, vestibulaire of cerebellaire stoornis
