- Corneal opacity, bijvoorbeeld litteken, pterygium
- Refractieve fout
- Maculaire degeneratie (atrofisch)
- Diabetische retinopathie
- Glaucoom
- Anterieure ischemische optische neuropathie, bijvoorbeeld temporale (reuzencel) arteritis
